The New York Giants are hard at work in their 2026 training camp, which is currently being hosted by The Greenbrier Resort.
So far, the returns have been positive, starting with wide receiver Malik Nabers returning to the practice field. Jaxson Dart has produced highlight plays throwing to free agent tight end Isaiah Likely, rookie receiver Malachi Fields, and veteran Odell Beckham Jr.
On the flip side, the Giants’ defense has been incredibly disruptive after a slow start on the first day of camp that
featured multiple dropped interceptions — of course, you can’t drop interceptions if you aren’t getting your hands on the ball. Since then, the Giants’ pass rush has been all but dominant and the secondary has been disruptive, preventing the offense from finding much of a rhythm at all.
We’re moving into a new phase of camp as the players don their pads on Monday, which will doubtless ratchet up the intensity. We’ll see how the defense responds when the offensive line is in pads and able to play more roughly.
So we wanted to use the opportunity to take the temperature of the fanbase: How are you feeling about the Giants after the first week of camp?
- Are you hyped up and believe the Giants are ready to compete with the Cowboys and Rams to start the year?
- Are you cautiously optimistic? Encouraged by the news coming out of camp but not ready to buy in yet?
- Are you cautiously pessimistic? Guarding your heart after having been hurt by promising off-seasons before?
- Or are you out completely? Do you believe that the Giants lack the talent and no coaching can speed up what needs to be multi-year rebuild?
