Today, the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0) will return to Mile High to face the Denver Broncos (0-1).
The Jags bested the Broncos in their last meeting, but Liam Coen’s team is still looking for validation. Another dub in Denver would give Jacksonville their 10th straight regular season win, and possibly — finally — some damn respect.
“I thought we had one of our better Wednesday practices that I’ve been around in a while,” Coen said. “I thought they came out, with the right mindset, the right energy and
juice at practice.”
“They were eager, ready to go, knowing what’s kind of at stake in a lot of ways and knowing what the opportunity is in front of us. I think they’ve handled the week thus far, really well.”
