This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans if they’ll be attending training camp this year.
Only 17% of respondents said yes.
After Day 3 of training camp on Friday, head coach Liam Coen said “continuing to take care of one another and staying off the ground” will be the major focus going into the next block of practices.
“We’ve got to protect each other. Like, this is such a time where the acclimation period, man, we’re trying to get good work, but we’re not evaluating how tough you are today. We’re
not evaluating how physical you are today. Like, we’ll evaluate that as the pads come on, and so the shift kind of goes to, like, all right, now we’re evaluating physicality and toughness and finish and all that. Can we still stay off the ground and protect each other and practice the right way? Because bad teams, they’re on the ground a lot in practice. Good teams typically aren’t.”
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars have +2700 odds to win Super Bowl LXI.
