According to a report from Sport Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia
), Chelsea loanee Nicolas Jackson is unhappy with his limited role under Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich.Interesting, Jackson appears to be the only player frustrated by his role at the moment as Kim Min-jae, Tom Bischof, and Leon Goretzka are dealing with their own lack of playing time by continuing to battle for minutes:
Nicolas Jackson is the only player in the current squad who is unhappy with his lack of playing time, with his frustration
being noticeable in the team. Other players such as Kim Min-jae, Tom Bischof and Leon Goretzka are accepting their limited roles and trying to recommend themselves for more minutes. Jackson is set to leave the club when his loan deal ends in the summer.
Jackson has not shown any outward signs of being annoyed with his role, but — if true — he could be expressing his feelings behind the scenes. On the season, the 24-year-old has five goals and one assist in 22 games across all competitions. While not horrible numbers for production with a seldom-used, back-up striker, Jackson just does not look like a fit with the squad when operating in the attack with his teammates.
Being the understudy to Harry Kane was never going to be easy for a guy who probably wants to start.
