Gameweek 19 arrives immediately after the previous round and marks the final gameweek of the first half of the season. It is also the only gameweek that falls across both 2025 and 2026.
Managers are reminded
that this is the final opportunity to use their first set of special chips, as any unused chips will expire after this deadline.
Roefs (£4.8m, Sunderland vs Man City )
Roefs remains a key part of my goalkeeper selection, especially when Sunderland are playing at home. While the fixture against an in-form Manchester City is challenging, it also presents an opportunity for him to rack up save points due to the expected volume of shots faced.
A.Becker (£5.4m, Liverpool vs Leeds Utd )
Alisson’s return between the sticks has coincided with an upturn in Liverpool’s results. After struggling in the previous part of the season, Liverpool now look more settled, and Alisson should be well placed to deliver a strong performance when they host Leeds at Anfield.
Dalot (£4.4m, Man Utd vs Wolves )
Dalot has become a regular starter for Manchester United, particularly with Mazraoui away on international duty. He offers attacking upside while maintaining defensive potential, and should be well positioned to contribute at both ends when United welcome a struggling Wolves side.
Chalobah (£5.5m, Chelsea vs Bournemouth )
Chalobah has been impressive this season, going from being frozen out of the squad to becoming a regular starter for Chelsea. He also carries additional goal threat from set pieces, making him an appealing defensive option.
Keane (£4.7m, Nottingham Forest vs Everton )
Keane has stepped up well in Branthwaite’s prolonged absence. In addition to his defensive contributions, he poses a strong threat from set pieces and has already scored three goals this season.
Midfielder
Cunha (£8.0m, Man Utd vs Wolves )
With captain Bruno sidelined for several weeks and both Mbeumo and Amad away on international duty, Cunha is set to take on a leading role in United’s attack. He will be central to their offensive play as he prepares to face his former club at Old Trafford.
Wirtz (£8.1m, Liverpool vs Leeds Utd )
Wirtz has been showing steady improvement, and it feels like only a matter of time before his performances translate into goals or assists. With Salah away at AFCON, Wirtz should have the opportunity to dictate Liverpool’s attacking play from central areas and take on greater creative responsibility.
Palmer (£10.4m, Chelsea vs Bournemouth)
Since returning from injury, Palmer has shown steady progress in regaining his form with each passing gameweek. Gameweek 19 feels like the right moment for him to fully rediscover his rhythm, and he has always proven to be a reliable FPL asset when in form.
Ekitike (£9.0m, Liverpool vs Leeds Utd )
With Isak sidelined for an extended period, Liverpool fans need not worry too much about a lack of firepower, as Ekitike has stepped in. Despite his height, he is technically strong on the ball and capable of scoring in a variety of ways.
Bowen (£7.6m, West Ham vs Brighton )
Despite West Ham’s struggles in the league table, Bowen has been outstanding on an individual level this season. The Hammers will once again rely heavily on him to help steer clear of relegation trouble.
