The Rip City Remix were busy today, trading away four players and two second-round picks to pick up the rights to two new players. The team announced the deals via social media:
The Rip City Remix have agreed to trade the returning player rights of Andrew Carr and Jamiya Neal, along with a 2027 second-round pick (via Valley Suns) to the Noblesville Boom in exchange for the returning player rights of Samson Johnson.
The Rip City Remix have agreed to trade the returning player rights of Carlin Davidson
and Garrett Denbow, along with a 2027 second-round pick, to the Texas Legends in exchange for the returning player rights of Mark Armstrong.
Johnson, a 6’10 forward out of the University of Connecticut, averaged 9.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game last season for the Boom while shooting 70.6% from the field.
Armstrong, a 6’2 guard out of Villanova, averaged 12.3 points and 2.5 assists in 20.8 minutes per game for the Legends, shooting 42.6% from the floor and 27.5% from the three-point arc.
