Welcome to another edition of preseason Bruins hockey, folks!
After starting the preseason with a 3-2 shootout win over Washington on Sunday night, the B’s will host the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden tonight.
The Flyers played their first preseason game last night, losing to Washington 5-2 in a game played in Hershey, PA.
One of Philly’s goalscorers in that game was none other than Jack Studnicka, now plying his trade with Philly.
In the “Feel Old Yet?” file, the other Flyers goalscorer was Cole Knuble.
Yes, Mike Knuble’s son.
The Flyers played a very NHL-light lineup last night, with guys like Sean Couturier, Travis Sanheim, and Travis Konecny sitting out.
For the B’s, JJ Peterka and Will Borgen will make their Bruins debuts, while David Pastrnak, Morgan Geekie, and Elias Lindholm are all expected to participate as well.
