I thought the RAF Moscow betting line for Khamzat Chimaev vs. Tyron Woodley was far too high considering Woodley’s collegiate wrestling accolades. Then I saw “Borz” face off against the 44-year-old “T-Wood” and the moneyline (see it here) is starting to make a little more sense.
Have a look:
Chimaev is listed at 6’2” against 5’9” for Woodley.
As far as their wrestling accomplishments, the 32-year-old “Borz” is a three-time Swedish national freestyle wrestling champion (with a habit of beating up teenagers) while Woodley is a two-time NCAA Division-1 All-American and Big 12 Conference Champion out of Missouri.
Chimaev, who is still waiting for his Sean Strickland rematch, last competed for RAF back in June, pinning Dillon Danis in St. Louis. As for Woodley, he made his RAF debut against UFC welterweight Joaquin Buckley with a wild comeback win at RAF 12 last month in Cleveland.
