Week 13 of the NFL regular season came to a close with 15 Maryland football alumni seeing the field.
On Sunday, two former Terps and 2024 NFL Draft selections — Raiders offensive tackle D.J. Glaze and Chargers
cornerback Tarheeb Still — faced off against each other. In an AFC West divisional matchup, the Chargers beat Las Vegas, 31-14.
Both Maryland alums have made the most out of their opportunities to start games despite their respective teams heading in opposite trajectories.
Glaze played 48 offensive snaps with an 61.5 overall PFF grade. Still played 37 downs and made two tackles in a strong defensive showing for the Chargers.
With five games left in the regular season, both players will look to finish strong. The Raiders, who are projected to land a top 2026 draft pick at 2-10, will face the Denver Broncos at home in Week 14.
At 8-4, the Chargers will try to work into a Wild Card spot against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football on Dec. 8. — or try to capture the AFC West.
