This season went sideways quickly for the Eagles, and as we approach the NFL trade deadline (Tuesday, November 10) it looks like Howie Roseman could consider moving some guys. ESPN’s Matt Bowen and Jeremy Fowler put out their Top 25 trade candidates by potential value, and included several Eagles.
At No. 8 on the list is CB Riq Woolen, who is considered a fit for teams like the Lions, Panthers, and Steelers.
“What Fowler is hearing: When I talk to rival teams about which players Philly might move,
Woolen’s name comes up fairly often. He’s a high-upside corner and 2027 free agent whose $1.26 million base salary could help facilitate a trade (much of his $12 million in guarantees came via signing or restructured bonuses).
Predicted chance of getting traded: 35%“
Eagles guard Landon Dickerson sits at No. 12 on the list, with Fowler explaining that the relationship between Dickerson and the team doesn’t feel right — something we’ve covered, as well. The NFL insider also noted that the Eagles are in position to recoup some draft capital as they look to go younger up front. Still, they only put Dickerson’s chance of being traded around 25 percent.
Tight end Dallas Goedert and wide receiver Hollywood Brown were also honorable mentions on the list, which makes sense given that they’re playing on one-year contracts.
The Eagles were also listed among the list as a potential landing spot for Bengals EDGE Shemar Stewart, a trade that Fowler suggests would be for a third-rounder.
“What Bowen sees on tape: Stewart has played just eight snaps this season, so teams would be betting on potential with the 2025 first-rounder. Stewart is an explosive mover with the physical profile to play on the edge, but he has yet to develop a refined pass-rush plan. He has two career sacks.“
Coming off a Monday night game and with a short week, Howie Roseman and team’s front office might be taking their time to picture their overall approach to building this roster over the next few years. But the GM has some big decisions to make about the direction of the team this year, and moving forward.
