Major League Wrestling is ready for the Fourth of July with fireworks on Fusion (July 4, 2026). The weekly installment features news on the free agent status of Bishop Dyer (aka Baron Corbin), a Bunkhouse Stampede to crown the inaugural Southern Crown champion, and the return of Teddy Long, playa.
Rumors are raging that Dyer is heading to WWE. MLW is working that angle on TV by saying that Dyer presented outrageous demands to be re-signed. The issue is that Dyer holds the MLW World Tag Team Championship
with Donovan Dijak. It sounds like MLW is putting pressure on Dijak to pick a new partner or vacate the titles.
MLW is introducing the new Southern Crown Championship to honor the history of southern wrestling. The match of choice to crown the inaugural titleholder is a multi-man Bunkhouse Stampede.
Question are abound about Long returning the MLW. Could the former general manager in WWE be pursuing the same role in MLW?
