Though Yan Diomande has largely been forgotten about following his strong ties to PSG, the French side are, according to Bild, balking at RB Leipzig’s ticket price for the attacker. Diomande’s side reportedly want £120 million for him, and while PSG are a side who can afford that much of an outlay, reports suggest they may not be willing to pay that much for his services as they have so many other great wingers already on their books.
Liverpool’s spending spree last summer combined with the wage space
left open by the likes of Mohamed Salah mean the Reds have been immediately thrown back into the ring of potential suitors for Diomande — a claim bolstered by the fact that unlike PSG Liverpool are very much in the hunt for wingers.
The price tag is a massive ask, and with the player reportedly keen on PSG these rumors are nothing to get too excited about. This is one to monitor, but the noise might well be simply for PSG’s negotiations rather than any real movement.
