The 16th ranked Texas A&M Aggies travel to South Bend to take on the 8th ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a Top 25 showdown that is going to be one of the biggest games of the college football weekend. It’s Notre Dame’s home opener, and fans are ready to get up to the House that Rockne Built to cheer on the Irish.
So — how’s the weather going to be?
It’s early in the week, and things are subject to change, but it looks like a wonderful day is in store for tailgating, football, and victory.
It’s a
7:30 game inside Notre Dame Stadium, so we’re looking at a full day of pregame activities. The weather should be fantastic. After a cloudy start, South Bend will reach a high of around 79 degrees around 2:00 PM with a slight breeze and minimal humidity.

The weather for the game will see some significant cooling with temperatures dropping to around 61 degrees on a clear night that will bring out the half moon on the horizon.
It’s PERFECT football weather in the Midwest.
