Last week, Bayern Munich bid adieu to their modern legend Thomas Müller after 25 wonderful years together. Despite interest from big clubs in the MLS, it was the former club of Alphonso Davies, the Vancouver Whitecaps, who turned the winners to acquire Müller’s signature. After the deal was completed, Mr. Bayern had a few training sessions at Säbener Straße before leaving for Canada.
Bayern will miss the Chemistry King
Thomas Müller is a favorite of his teammates. Always with a few jokes up his sleeve, he is known to help new players and young players settle into the first team. Despite moving to FC Barcelona four years ago, Robert Lewandowski recently recalled the Raumdeuter as one of his favorite footballers to play with.
Young Jonah Kusi-Asare and newbie Luis Diaz also took part in the training along with Müller. As seen in the video above, Müller is seen passing instructions on the lanes of attack to his teammates. His ability to bond quickly with his men and help out the kids improve their game will be sorely missed.
Danke schön, auf wiedersehen, until next time, bye bye Thomas!
