Thiago Alcantara has decided to rejoin Barcelona and is set to link up with Hansi Flick’s coaching staff again “imminently.”
An agreement has been reached for Thiago to come back to Barcelona and he could be back in place as early as next week, according to the latest reports.
Thiago has been tipped to resume his career with Barcelona for some time after leaving his post last year. He spent a month working with Flick, and was credited with helping the German coach adjust to life at the club, but then had to return to England due to bureaucratic issues.
Flick and Thiago have a great relationship, as they also worked together at Bayern, and are now set to be reunited once again in Spain.
La Liga is currently on hold due to the international break but returns next weekend when Barcelona play a first home game of the season – somewhere – against Valencia.
