This past weekend saw very little fireworks from LSU Tigers at both the collegiate and pro level. Nevertheless, hope is on the horizon. Let’s break down the quiet week that was.
Bills 19 at Texans 23
Josh
Allen was sacked a whopping eight times, and Danielle Hunter was in on two of them as part of his six tackles. Yes, his whole defense was feasting, but Hunter was still playing possessed Thursday night.
Hunter’s 11 sacks currently rank third in the league. Not bad for a 31-year-old.
Derek Stingley Jr. played every snap, but did not record a tackle. He would’ve been in perfect position to make a game-clinching tackle on 4th and 27, but bit HARD on a hook-and-ladder called by fellow 2019 great Joe Brady. How did Sting respond on the play right after a potentially game-losing mistake? By clamping down on a Gabe Davis go-route to prevent first-and-goal and a certain go-ahead TD. The Bills never got that first down, and the Texans hung on.
Ed Ingram blocked and Jalen Mills played five snaps. Not enough LSU on the Texans for ya? They also claimed Damone Clark off waivers. Hopefully we see him soon since the other Texas team refused to play him.
Tre’Davious White had two tackles and a pass breakup while Reid Ferguson long-snapped.
NFLSU Score: 8/10
Colts 20 at Chiefs 23 (OT)
Clyde Edwards-Helaire ran five times for eight yards and caught two passes for nine yards.
NFLSU Score: 3/10
Steelers 28 at Bears 31
Patrick Queen had five tackles.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
Patriots 26 at Bengals 20
Prior to the season this looked like an NFLSU Game of the Year contender, but instead was a microcosm of how disappointing this season has been. Joe was still inactive, Ja’Marr was suspended, and Will Campbell was carted off with an injury. All this game could offer us was two Kayshon Boutte catches for 15 yards and one K’Lavon Chaisson tackle.
Fortunately, we will see Joe and Ja’Marr on prime time Thursday night. After all the terrible offense LSU fans have been forced to watch this year, we deserve to see those two again.
NFLSU Score: 3/10
Jets 10 at Ravens 23
Mason Taylor caught three passes for 21 yards. What does Emery Jones need to do to get on the field…
NFLSU Score: 2/10
Seahawks 30 at Titans 24
Arden Key had two tackles and a sack. Anthony Bradford and Lloyd Cushenberry blocked.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
Vikings 6 at Packers 23
Justin Jefferson caught four passes for 48 yards. I don’t think a single football fan in the world with an IQ greater than 9 is blaming Jefferson for his subpar numbers.
NFLSU Score: 3/10
Giants 27 at Lions 34 (OT)
Cor’Dale Flott had two tackles.
NFLSU Score: 2/10
Jaguars 27 at Cardinals 24 (OT)
BJ Ojulari had three tackles.
NFLSU Score: 2/10
Browns 24 at Raiders 10
Devin White and Grant Delpit both had six tackles. Jamal Adams had one. Ethan Pocic blocked.
NFLSU Score: 6/10
Falcons 24 at Saints 10
Davon Godchaux had one tackle. Foster Moreau blocked. Help is on the way as the Saints signed Cade York Tuesday.
NFLSU Score: 2/10
Eagles 21 at Cowboys 24
sorry, don’t care.

Panthers 9 at 49ers 20
Damien LEwis blocked for a Panthers offense that decided to be bad again.
