As Missouri continues to be active in the transfer portal this offseason, Eli Drinkwitz and the staff have landed a big name on Tuesday night — adding to the defensive secondary.
Michigan transfer cornerback Elijah Dotson has committed to Missouri — per Hayes Fawcett of Rivals/On3.
During his freshman season with the Wolverines — Dotson showed flashes of his potential with 11 total tackles and one interception — appearing in 12 total games.
From his high school recruitment — Dotson was rated as a former four-star, top-100 recruit per Rivals/On3 and 247Sports and was ranked as the No. 2 player in the state of Michigan.
Missouri notably won the Dotson recruitment in the transfer portal over Texas A&M.
Dotson becomes the 17th overall transfer portal addition for Mizzou Football this offseason — and he joins a secondary room with Oregon CB Jahlil Florence, Notre Dame S JaDon Blair, and Auburn S Kensley Louidor-Faustin.
