The Chicago Bears one an epic game on Monday Night Football on the right foot of Jake Moody. It was a great night for the Bears, and it was a great night for the player props, as all three hit on Monday!
The undefeated evening puts our season-long record at 10-5. This Sunday, the Bears welcome the New Orleans Saints as they look to extend their winning streak to 4. Can we extend our winning streak to 6? Here are our 3 player props to play this week.
Caleb Williams Parlay: OVER 220.5 Passing Yards, Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns +140
We are doing a little Caleb parlay this week. Caleb Williams has gone over 220.5 in two of the last three weeks and the Saints have given up 2 or more passing touchdowns in every game this season, which makes Caleb’s over 1.5 passing touchdowns at -150, which is a pretty heavy number to lay, so I figure, if Caleb throws a couple of touchdowns, he probably is going to be north of 220 yards as well. We pair the two together and get ourselves a little bit of some plus money. Yes, please.
Luther Burden OVER 20.5 Receiving Yards -114
Luther Burden has started to find himself more and more involved in the Bears’ offense. He’s had a 50 and a 100-yard game in his last three games. Now his other game, against the Raiders, he tallied just -4 yards, ouch; however, he still had two catches. He has 9 catches on 9 targets over the last three games, and even with the Raiders, he had two catches.
I think Burden gets at least two catches, but he’s probably going to have 3 or 4 catches, and if that holds, there’s just no way that Burden doesn’t go north of 20 yards.
D’Andre Swift OVER 53.5 Rushing Yards -114
I think the Bears’ running game figured some things out last week against Washington. Theo Benedet is a much better run blocker right now than Braxton Jones, and Swift looked like a man possessed on Monday Night Football. Will he go off again? Probably not, but with Kyle Monangai and Roschon Johnson getting some, but not many carries, Swift should still see the bulk of the carries, and if he does, against a middle-of-the-road Saints run defense, he should clear this number.
