New tag team champions have been crowned in MLW, and it was Baron Corbin who ate the pin.
The Skyscrapers duo of Donovan Dijak and Corbin (using the alias Bishop Dyer on this program) battled the Good Brothers on the latest episode of MLW Fusion. Tennessee Tornado rules were in effect, which is basically a standard tornado tag team bout, for the contest in Chattanooga.
The Skyscrapers and the Good Brothers brawled with chairs, a kendo stick, and a crutch. Drama picked up down the stretch when Karl
Anderson kicked out of the 1-2 combo of a Death Valley Driver from Corbin followed by a moonsault from Dijak.
The Skyscrapers regrouped to set up that combo again, but Doc Gallows made the save to prevent execution. Gallows hit Dijak with a trashcan lid, and Dijak tumbled off the turnbuckles to crash through a table on the floor.
The Good Brothers made the most of that opportunity with Dijak down. They double-teamed Corbin for a Magic Killer, a 1, 2, 3, and a too sweet. Anderson pinned Corbin for the win. The Good Brothers won the MLW tag titles for the first time, and they celebrated with good son CJ Gallows, who debuted earlier in a battle royal.
That makes the Good Brothers ten-time world tag team champions for their career. The long list includes gold in WWE, NJPW, TNA, MLP, and elsewhere around the world.
If you’re wondering how Corbin competed for MLW while currently signed to WWE as United States champion, the answer is the magic of taped television. This episode of Fusion was filmed in May. Corbin returned to WWE in July.

MLW Fusion airs Saturdays at 6:05 pm ET on YouTube, at 9 pm ET on Veeps, and at 10 pm ET on beIN SPORTS.
