Today is Senior Day for the Kentucky Wildcats as they play their final home game of the season, hosting Tennessee Tech this afternoon.
Head coach Mark Stoops and his team are riding a two-game winning streak,
with both Ws coming against Southeastern Conference opponents.
That’s a statement fans thought they’d never hear again after the team failed to win a league game in what was more than a calendar year.
However, Stoops and the Wildcats have tallied two wins at Auburn and against Florida in as many weeks.
Today, Kentucky looks to extend its winning streak to three and also get to .500 on the season, with its hopes still alive to become bowl eligible.
The Wildcats opened as 20.5-point favorites over Tennessee Tech, while ESPN’s Football Power Index is giving UK a whopping 94.5 percent chance to win straight up.
Will Kentucky quarterback Cutter Boley continue to stay hot and keep powering UK forward?
Will earning a win later today and at least one more over the next two weeks be enough for Stoops to save his job?
We’ll learn soon enough when Kentucky and Tennessee Tech kick off at 1:30 PM ET on SEC Network Plus.
