Serge Gnabry and Tim Binder are continuing to make progress in their respective comebacks, with both Bayern Munich players completing individual training sessions at Säbener Straße on Thursday.
The duo remains sidelined from team training as they work their way back to full fitness, but getting onto the pitch for individual sessions represents another positive step in the rehabilitation process.
For Gnabry, his return will be particularly important for Bayern Munich. The experienced attacker remains
an important option in Vincent Kompany’s squad because of his versatility and ability to contribute from multiple positions in the final third. Bayern Munich have considerable attacking depth, but having Gnabry available would give Kompany another experienced player to rotate into the demanding schedule.
Binder, meanwhile, is continuing his own recovery after suffering a minor muscle tear in his right hamstring. The young defender has been working toward a return and will be hoping to resume team training once he is cleared to do so.
There is still no reason for Bayern Munich to rush either player. The priority is making sure both return fully fit rather than risking another setback.
For now, individual work at Säbener Straße is another encouraging sign that Gnabry and Binder are moving closer to their respective returns.
