The New York Giants wrap up their preseason this Thursday night with a primetime matchup against the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET, airing nationally on Amazon Prime, as Brian Daboll’s squad looks to finish the exhibition slate undefeated.
This will be the 15th all-time preseason meeting between the Giants and Patriots, a series that has become tradition to close out August. While the games don’t count in the standings, both coaching staffs typically use this
final tune-up to evaluate roster battles before the regular season begins.
Fans will be watching closely to see how much rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart plays after two strong performances, and whether cornerbacks Cor’Dale Flott or Deonte Banks if he is active, can lock down the second outside spot. On the Patriots’ side, rookie playmakers TreVeyon Henderson and Efton Chism III have flashed big-play potential and could test the Giants’ defense.
The Giants won the last regular-season meeting between these two teams in November 2023, defeating New England 10-7.
