The Dallas Mavericks (19-31) play yet another home game, but this time against the San Antonio Spurs (34-16). It will be their last home game for three weeks. Dallas is riding quite the losing streak, most recently falling to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. The Spurs are looking to make it three wins in a row after defeating the Orlando Magic then the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Heres the main things you need to know before tipoff.

Well, when you make trades, the injury report looks weird and a bit funny.
As we know the Mavericks moved Anthony Davis, Jaden Hardy, D’Angelo Russell, and Dante Exum. Once they were officially traded they moved off the injury report from “not with team”. Now it has the new guys as “trade pending”, so Marvin Bagley, Tyus Jones, AJ Johnson, and Kris Middleton.

Daniel Gafford is going to give it the old college try again after hurting his ankle for the millionth time. PJ Washington is still out with a concussion. The Spurs will be without the services of Luke Kornet, Lindy Waters, and Kelly Olynyk.
I don’t see how Dallas wins this one, given the bodies available and the talent disparity. Cooper Flagg should take 30 shots. Victor Wembanyama should g0 nuts. But you know what I say in terms of me making predictions: I suck at them. Still, I am excited to watch the matchup of Southwest Division rivals.
