This feud with the Righteous chipped away at the psyche of Matt Hardy. Now, Broken Matt is back in TNA and ready to delete Vincent and Dutch. Delete! Delete! Delete!
Last week on Impact, Vincent cheated to help Dutch defeat Matt Hardy in singles competition. This week on Impact (Apr. 30, 2026), the tables turned so to speak when Matt helped Jeff Hardy defeated Vincent. I can’t say that Matt cheated on behalf of his brother, because the lights went out. I can say that Matt was Broken when the lights turned on.
The moment in question was amusing. Vincent had control ready to leap for a swanton. That’s when the lights went out. Lights on, and Broken Matt was in the ring. Lights out, lights on. Jeff was magically on the turnbuckles for a swanton onto Vincent to win.
This is what the Righteous wanted all along. Vincent commented on social media, “IS IT TRUE!? No one would listen. NOW LOOK AT HIM. We didn’t wait for it. WE BROUGHT IT BACK! We have been in control Brother…. Welcome BACK! Dig what I’m saying, man?” Dutch added, “Success. WE KNEW YOU’D COME!!!”
Ever since the Righteous arrived in TNA, fans knew it was a matter of time until a Broken showdown. We’re getting very close to that point now.
