AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR APR. 8
A deer dance, invitation to peace, war staring you in the face, dressed in black with a helmet, fierce, trained and appropriate for the malcontents, for the disproportioned malcontents. A little boy smiled, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.
The show opens with Will Ospreay jumping Jon Moxley in a loading dock!
The rest of Death Riders jump him and beat him up and an SUV rolls up and Alex Windsor, Callum Newman, Henare, and Francesco Akira get out!
WE GOT A BRAWL! Akira dives off a car onto Claudio Castagnoli, Henare slams Wheeler YUTA hard into the hood of the same car!
Windsor and Marina Shafir brawl out onto the stage followed shortly thereafter by Ospreay, Newman, Moxley, and Daniel Garcia! Garcia and Moxley get the better of Will in the ring, Henare and Francesco appear to even the odds but PAC is right behind Henare to beat him down! Henare and Claudio over the ropes, Jon chokes Ospreay, falling back, Will rolls out and here comes Newman with a diving double stomp!
Underhooks, Mox slips out and the United Empire stands tall in the ring!
Ospreay gets on the mic and tells Moxley he told him to use his head, so he did by flying over to Japan and bringing Henare, bringing Akira, bringing the youngest IWGP Heavyweight Champion of all time in Callum Newman, and he’s gonna give Jon about an hour twenty but they’re gonna create some Chaos in Canada in tonight’s main event– United Empire vs. Death Riders!
Backstage, Don Callis informs us that Kyle Fletcher is injured and out of action and it throws a wrench into the works for the AEW TNT Championship, which will now be decided in a Casino Gauntlet at Dynasty. He was in the middle of negotiating ProtOkada vs. the Young Bucks for Dynasty, but he already has a pivot that’s gonna blow your mind.
Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita, when are we gonna see them fight? He runs this faction like a professional sports franchise and likes that people don’t get along, so you’re gonna wait a long time to see them wrestle, because he calls the shots, and coming right up, you’ll get to see Takeshita in a trios match.
