What is the story about?
U. S. Soccer announced today that Houston Dash’s goalkeeper Jane Campbell will replace Manchester United’s Phallon Tullis-Joyce in the upcoming June camp in Brazil. The change comes after Tullis-Joyce got injured in the World Sevens Football tournament in London.
This is a continuation of Campbell’s call-ups after being with the national team
in April for the three matches the USWNT played against Japan. However, she didn’t see any minutes back then.
In this way, she joins goalkeepers Claudia Dickey and Mandy McGlynn for the two friendlies the US will play against Brazil on June 6 and June 9.
