It’s Sunday, and you know what that means — it’s time for our weekly social media roundup! We’re now more than two full weeks out from the end of the season, which means that the hot stove is starting to ever so slowly warm up. How have the New York Yankees been spending their vacation time? Let’s find out!
26.2 in NYC
Last Sunday was the New York City Marathon, and the New York Yankees were well-represented. 2025 Hall of Fame inductee CC Sabathia was the event’s Grand Marshall, while Aaron Judge’s wife and Ben
Rice’s girlfriend ran in the event.
All That Jazz
This past Friday, Major League Baseball announced this year’s Silver Slugger Award winners, and two members of the Yankees, Aaron Judge and Jazz Chisholm Jr. earned individual honors (the Yankees as a whole won the teamwide honor as well). On his personal Instagram account, Judge shared the Yankees’ highlight reel on his story — and didn’t even acknowledge his own win. That’s why he’s Captain America.
More Reflections on 2025
Once the season came to an official close, Ben Rice finally posted his end-of-season reflection.
In a more serious reflection, Carlos and Ashley Rodón took to Instagram to once more thank the members of the Yankees who attended their foundation’s gala on one of their few off days.
Rooting on New York sports
As always, members of the Yankees family spend the winter months attending other sports games. This week, CC Sabathia traveled down to Madison Square Garden to catch the Knicks, while Michael Kay took his family to see the New York Giants.
Alex vs. A-Rod
Alex Rodriguez is a controversial figure, to put it lightly. This week, HBO Max released a documentary about the former Yankees third baseman that dove into his complicated story.
Halloween Remnants
The Rodón family were a little bit late to Halloween, but they went all-out, so we’ll forgive them.
Dog Pics
When we’ve got some fresh dog pics, we end the social media roundup with the dog pics. Them’s the rules.
