According to a report from Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is still interested in Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani despite recent reports to the contrary:
Bayern remain interested in Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani as a possible backup for Harry Kane with potential to develop further. The 23-year old has a release clause of under €30m.
At 23-years-old, it seems at least bit odd that an up-and-coming striker would think about entertaining a move to
back-up Harry Kane, but that could be what is at play. Surely, a raise would be on the table, but Asllani will likely need to consider his career path if he goes from steady playing time and an important role to being Kane’s understudy.
Asllani has eight goals and seven assists in 23 games across all competitions and his contract with Hoffenheim runs through 2029, which could affect how much Hoffenheim would like in return for any sale.
