Dak Prescott stands alone.
In the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders the world saw Prescott throw his third touchdown of the day which tied him with Tony Romo for the most in franchise history with 248.
Prescott reached 249, and the top of the record books, a little while later.
Prescott is now the Dallas Cowboys franchise leader in a number of passing categories:
- Touchdowns
- Yards
- Completions
- Pass Attempts
- Completion Percentage
When Dak’s career is over he will, obviously, own all major statistical records
as far as passing in team history. It goes without saying that everybody wants to see the ultimate team accomplishment achieved in the process. Here’s to hoping that comes in due time.
Congratulations to Dak Prescott. Sunday was a great day with this happening and the team getting their first win of the season. Hopefully it all bodes well for the rest of the year.
