A Chiefs It took four weeks, but the Chiefs offense came alive and all it needed was Xavier Worthy out on the field. With Worthy back in the lineup, the Chiefs’ offense exploded for 37 points. Worthy played a big part in the resurgence with 85 receiving yards and 38 rushing yards. Patrick Mahomes, who threw four TD passes, looked a lot more comfortable with his speedy receiver
back on the field. Rashee Rice will be back on the field in Week 7, and what that happens, the Chiefs will be back at full strength and we all know what this team can do when they’re at full strength.
Week 4 NFL Takeaways: If You Thought the Chiefs Were Dead, That’s on You | SI
“I think the word that comes to mind, that’s come up the most in conversation is energy,” linebacker Drue Tranquill told me postgame. “I feel like when our energy is good and our leaders are passionate, vocal and executing on a high level, it seems like we click. There were a few times last year where we started slow in the first half. They were getting out in front of us or the offense was struggling to get going. It even happened today a little. Credit to Baltimore going down to get a touchdown at the start.”
The swagger was missing.
No play illustrated the odd place in which the Ravens found themselves more than the fourth-and-1 play at the Baltimore 41 with 3:01 left in the second quarter and the Chiefs still within reach at 13-7. Despite the presence of the wrecking ball that is Henry, or the ever slippery Jackson, the Ravens didn’t look to impose their will on their foes as they have so many times before. Instead, they went spread formation, empty backfield, and Jackson — who hasn’t looked comfortable behind his line all season — dropped back and threw an incompletion to backup running back Justice Hill, turning the ball over on downs.

QB Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs
Can it really be 48 games since the last time Mahomes had four or more touchdown passes and no interceptions?
It seems like there’s an AFC playoff preview every week, and Ravens vs. Chiefs was definitely one. Mahomes showed the Chiefs are better than their record would show, getting them back to 2-2 with 270 yards and touchdown passes to four players.
Mahomes’ four touchdown passes were more than his first games combined. I’m not saying they’re the old Chiefs, but they’re still dangerous.
NFL contenders and pretenders entering Week 5: Which of the seven 2-2 teams can you trust? | NFL.com
It was a great weekend for the Chiefs. Their offense finally shook its early-season funk and performed at the level we’re more accustomed to seeing in a 37-20 win over Baltimore. Kansas City also picked up a game in the AFC West race after the Chargers fell to the Giants in New York. If both those contests had gone the other way, then the Chiefs would’ve fallen 3.5 games behind Los Angeles. Now, Kansas City has renewed confidence and plenty of reasons to think about catching up in the division. Patrick Mahomes finally looked like himself, as he threw four touchdown passes against Baltimore. The defense stifled Lamar Jackson once again and kept a team that had been averaging 37 points a game in check. There should still be concerns about how viable the Chiefs’ running game is — the team averaged 2.8 yards per carry when Mahomes and wide receiver Xavier Worthy weren’t carrying the ball — but head coach Andy Reid did show more commitment to it. This was a get-right game for the Chiefs against a formidable opponent. That says a lot about where they’ll be come January, which is where they usually are. ASSESSMENT: CONTENDER

Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill exits win on cart with dislocated knee | ESPN
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill dislocated his left knee during Monday night’s 27-21 win over the New York Jets and was to remain hospitalized overnight while undergoing further testing, according to coach Mike McDaniel.
The Dolphins expect to learn more details Tuesday, but it is expected that Hill’s injury is season-ending.
In an interview with WSVN 7News, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said he accompanied the star receiver to the hospital, where he was undergoing an MRI and CT scan to determine the extent of the damage.
“Are there any torn ligaments, is there torn cartilage, are there any broken bones, to check on the blood flow, any, God forbid, nerve damage?” Rosenhaus said. “All of this is getting checked out.
Source: Browns trade for Texans’ Cam Robinson to fill OT need | ESPN
The Cleveland Browns are trading for Houston Texans offensive tackle Cam Robinson in exchange for a swap of late-round picks in 2027, sources told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on Monday.
The Browns had a need at offensive tackle after Dawand Jones suffered a season-ending injury in Week 3. He underwent surgery last week to repair a torn LCL and hamstring avulsion.
Cleveland has used four different starting offensive line combinations in as many games because of offensive tackle injuries. In addition to Jones’ season-ending injury, right tackle Jack Conklin has missed the past three games because of an elbow injury.

Chiefs-Ravens: 5 things we learned in Week 4 victory
1. Xavier Worthy was the missing piece
When the Chiefs opened the season with a frustrating 0-2 start, many wondered whether the return of wide receiver Xavier Worthy would really make that big a difference, given the level of disorder Kansas City had shown early.
Well… yes, he does.
It’s not just because Worthy is a young, talented, all-around wide receiver, or that he is one of the fastest players in the NFL. It’s because he adds an element to this offense that was sorely missing before.
Sure… the Chiefs didn’t play perfectly. But a dynamic player like Worthy brings an element that covers a multitude of sins and puts pressure on an opposing defense in such a way that it splits at the seams, opening space for others to operate.
This was the first time that the offense Kansas City envisioned for 2025 was finally on the field.
Just imagine what it will look like when Rashee Rice returns from his suspension.
