ACC play resumes after the Christmas break with three non-conference games, none of them remotely interesting on the surface: Boston College plays the entity known as LeMoyne,Georgia Tech gets traditional
patsy Florida A&M and SMU sees Cal State-Fullerton.
We might regret this, but: who the hell is LeMoyne?
Turns out they’re in DeWitt, New York out of the NEC. This year, that might be enough to take out Boston College.
There’s no reason to think the Rattlers can beat Georgia Tech and certainly SMU should beat the Titans.
Thankfully that’s it for non-conference play. On Tuesday, ACC play starts for real with FSU at UNC, Pitt at Miami, and Louisville and Notre Dame flying out to the Bay to take on Cal and Stanford respectively,
