The Atlanta Braves announced Thursday that they have exercised options for both Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies. Acuña Jr. is set to earn $17M next season, and Albies will earn $7M. Of course, both of these figures do not account for the impending lockout.
The Braves also made a couple of roster moves Thursday, reinstating Spencer Schwellenbach, Spencer Strider, Hurston Waldrep, and Joey Wentz from the 60-day injured list.
While none of these moves come as a surprise, they mark another step in the Braves’ offseason preparations ahead of the looming labor dispute.
