Bayern Munich will kick off the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League campaign with a home match against Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt. Vincent Kompany has trusted his squad depth in the early stages of this season and Thursday’s match should be no different. Once again, Bayern is a top contender for the European cup and will want to avenge their semifinal loss at the hands of the two-time defending champs, Paris Saint-Germain.
Unlike most European teams, Bodø/Glimt is halfway through their domestic season that

Bayern wins 3-1. Harry Kane will score two goals in the first half while Bayern dominate possession. Jamal Musiala will score as a super sub in the second half, proving his medical condition is a small speed bump in his career. The away team will find a goal in the dying minutes of the match to ruin another clean sheet for Manuel Neuer but it will be too little too late.
