Monday, the WNBA announced that Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve won the 2026 Coach of the Year award. Minnesota finished the 2026 season with a 33-11 record. Reeve also won Coach of the Year five times, more than any other coach.

Washington Mystics Head Coach Sydney Johnson was third place after leading Washington to a 28-16 record despite his team being projected to be lottery bound in preseason rankings. Golden State Valkyries Head Coach Natalie Nakase was second place.
