In what really shouldn’t be a shocking surprise, Kyle Schwarber is a finalist for the National League MVP award.
One of the better contract years in recent memory, Schwarber passed the 50 home run benchmark with ease while racking up 130+ RBI. He was a run scoring threat each time he stepped to the plate. He was one of the best offensive players in the game.
He just happens to be in the same league as the best player to ever play the game.
A second place finish is nothing to sneeze at.
