Purdue winning last night also gives me the chance to watch tonight’s game. You see, weeks ago I agreed to go to Wicked: For Good with my lovely wife on opening night without even thinking to look at the basketball schedule. When I checked the schedule later it said Purdue played at 7:00 tonight meanwhile I had tickets to a 6:10 movie. Oh no! But here comes Purdue, winning a basketball game, and thus earning the night game and allowing me to both be a good husband AND be home in time to watch the basketball game. It’s a win win!
