Hansi Flick has named his Barcelona team for Tuesday’s Copa del Rey quarter-final tie against Albacete and has made a few changes to his XI.
Ronald Araujo, Marc Bernal and Joao Cancelo are all in the starting line-up, while Lamine Yamal continues in attack alongside Robert Lewandowski and Marcus Rashford.
Flick was asked before kick-off why he has resisted the urge to rest Yamal and offered up the following explanation.
“No, at this moment he is in a good frame of mind and he is enjoying playing football.
That’s so good for us and good for him.
“I think it’s also good for the fans, because everyone likes the way he plays.”
Albacete fans will surely be thrilled to see Yamal up close for the match but will know he heads into the game in great form. The teenager has three goals and two assists in his last four games for the club.
