It’s time to start preparing for the 2026 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 3 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Terrell Wilfong
Position: Wide Receiver
Year: Redshirt Freshman
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 185 lbs
Hometown: West Orange, NJ
High School: West Orange
2025 stats: Wilfong played in three games. He featured against Tennessee, Colgate and Boston College, but didn’t record any stats.
2026
projections: A year with the Orange program will definitely help Wilfong. However, with the additions from the transfer portal and improvements from the upperclassmen, Wilfong will most likely have to bide his time. He is the tallest wide receiver on the roster, which could be advantageous in certain situations. However, Wilfong will most likely be lower on the depth chart.
How’d he get here?: Wilfong drew the attention of most of the FBS schools in the Northeast. Boston College, Cincinnati, Maryland, Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia and Temple put in an offer for the New Jersey native. SEC schools Tennessee and Vanderbilt also offered Wilfong.
What’d recruiting sites say?: A three star recruit by all recruiting services.
Social Media: @973_terrell
Interesting nugget o’interest: Wilfong was also a basketball player at West Orange High School, where he was a First Team All-Conference selection.
Let’s get a look at ya: In a spring game with limited offense, Wilfong was one of the standouts.
