During the season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.
The Browns are on the bye, but also coming off of a bad loss to the Patriots, a day which saw Cleveland’s offense stagnant again. With their 2-6 record, fan confidence plunged 31 percentage points down to 9%. On the bright side of things, in a national poll, DE Myles Garrett is the frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year again, while LB Carson Schwesinger
received some consideration for Defensive Rookie of the Year.
We asked two other questions to fans this week, the first of which asked who the Browns should start at quarterback against the Jets. Even though we know Kevin Stefanski picked Dillon Gabriel, only 12% of fans agree with that decision. 88% think it’s time that Shedeur Sanders take over the job.
Our other question asked what fans’ expectations are after the bye: should the team still play for the playoffs, or should they be in evaluation mode? 68% already feel it’s time the team is in evaluation mode, compared to 32% who are still hoping the team fights for an AFC North playoff spot.
