Here are a few notes of interest before getting to the video.
- USC’s last posession of their first half was a kneel down, and their final drive with two minutes left down 14 points was desperation, so the Ducks had 9 meaningful possessions as opposed to the Trojans 8.
- Ol #55 Douglas Utu started at left guard in the first three drives for Oregon, but was replaced by #73 Kawika Rogers on the fourth possession for the remainder of the game. Utu did slip into this spot in special goal line packages when Rogers kicked out to a “TE” position.
- TE #9 Jamari Johnson returned from injury and had a major impact in the passing game, but rotated with TE #18 Dendre Harrison and TE #19 Andrew Olesh.
