Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (4 – 4)
SYRACUSE 9, TOLEDO 7 (BOX)
Homers from Nick Morabito, Hayden Senger, and Jackson Cluff powered the Mets to a 9-7 win in a slugfest over the Mud Hens. Senger already has three homers on the season and is currently rocking a 1.474 OPS – not a real signal of anything, but a fun start to the season to be sure. A cavalcade of Mets pitchers were mostly unremarkable, with Joander Suarez putting up the lone clunker as he failed to get out of the third inning.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (1 – 1)
NEW HAMPSHIRE 2, BINGHAMTON 1 (BOX)
Accruing four
hits is typically a good way to lose a game, and that’s what happened to Binghamton in this one. Despite two doubles from personal cheeseball Matt Rudick, the Rumble Ponies’ offense was completely nonexistent, squandering a solid pitching performance from a trio of arms. Channeling the major league side I suppose.

HUDSON VALLEY 8, BROOKLYN 1 (BOX)
The Renegades tagged Wyatt Hudepohl for five runs in the first inning and never looked back. The Cyclones managed only three hits, struck out 13 times, made an error, walked five guys, and ultimately fell in fairly uncompetitive fashion.

Single-A: St. Lucie Mets (2 – 1)
ST. LUCIE 1 , PALM BEACH 0 (BOX)
Meet this year’s breakout pitching prospect – Cam Tilly. Tilly was taken in the seventh round of the 2025 draft (223rd overall) out of Auburn and received a $397,500 bonus. There were clear positive stuff markers at the time, and wouldn’t you know it he came out flashing improvements already in his first professional start. Tilly struck out six over five hitless innings, part of a shutout effort by the St. Lucie pitching staff. Tilly could very well be a top-10 prospect in the system by midseason if not better. Randy Guzman, another potential riser, drove in the lone run in this game.
