Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal reportedly met with his agent Jorge Mendes this week which has brought plenty of speculation about the topic of conversation
A new report from Catalunya Radio claims that
the meeting was organised by Deco “based on some internal concern at the club about the management of Lamine Yamal.”
There’s been speculation recently that Barcelona aren’t too happy with some aspects of Yamal’s behaviour and even claims he was late for a team meeting, although Hansi Flick was quick to shoot those particular rumors down.
The report adds that the objective of the meeting was primarily to “guide him in his behaviour towards the club, the coaching staff and the dressing room.”
Mendes and Yamal reportedly spoke for around three hours in the restaurant of a Barcelona hotel after some “uncomfortable situations in recent months” that needed to be resolved.
There’s no detail on exactly what Barcelona are so worried about regarding Yamal, but there is lots of talk flying out about right that there are a few issues behind the scenes.
As usual with Barca, it’s difficult to know what to believe.
