The Golden State Warriors had a lot of fun on Sunday night. Taking on the Chicago Bulls, on the road, on the back end of a back-to-back, and playing without Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Al Horford
proved no problem at all, as the Dubs crushed the Bulls 123-91. They never trailed at any point in the game.
It’s always fun to see how fans react to games, especially good ones. So here’s a look at the live reactions, as seen through the lens of the Golden State of Mind game thread comment section.
First quarter: ‘Frenetic pace is working again’
The Warriors came out of the gates firing, with tons of offense. They were in total control, with a 38-25 lead after the first.
Second quarter: ‘Looking good’
They kept rolling in the second quarter, withstanding a Chicago run to take a 60-46 advantage into the locker rooms.
Third quarter: ‘Buddy has become a complete player’
The Dubs came out of the halftime gates firing, and eventually ballooned the lead all the way to 24 points. But Chicago answered with a late 14-0 run to make the game interesting, and the Warriors led 87-76 going into the final frame.
Fourth quarter: ‘Back to that fun gameplay’
Golden State quickly ended the game in the fourth quarter. Jimmy Butler III put the team on his back, and before you knew it, the lead was massive once again. From there, the Dubs coasted to a 32-point victory.
