Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season for Monaco on Sunday as the Ligue 1 side drew 2-2 against Nice.
The Barcelona youngster has been in a rich vein of goalscoring form
since making his debut for his new club and was named Monaco’s MVP for September.
He’s now followed that up with his first goals in October, netting from the penalty spot to get Monaco back in the game after they had gone 2-1 down.
Fati banged in another spot-kick after the break to rescue a point for Adi Hutter’s side and continue his rich vein of goalscoring form.
That’s now six goals in five games for his new club and, most importantly, the smile is definitely back on Ansu Fati’s face after a really difficult few seasons.
Sunday’s match was also the first 90 minutes Fati has managed for Monaco this season, and he’ll be hoping he can pick up where he left off after the international break.
