Valter Walker isn’t one to back down.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) newcomer Josh Hokit made quite the impression in his Octagon debut last night (Sat., Oct. 8, 2025) at UFC Vegas 111, starching
Max Gimenis in just 56 seconds inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada (watch highlights).
Following his explosive knockout win, Hokit grabbed the microphone and delivered a Chael Sonnen–style promo, calling out No. 14-ranked Heavyweight Walker by name.

It didn’t take long for Walker to fire back — and he wasted no time accepting the challenge in a now-deleted tweet.
“You piece of shit,” Walker said. “I’ll kick your head and force you to respect our culture. Take my name out of your mouth, I give the orders you trash…One question, what shoe size do you wear?”
While it’s rare for a ranked contender to respond to a debuting fighter, Walker has previously said he’s open to facing unranked opponents while he continues to build experience. That said, he suffered a leg injury in his last outing and will likely be sidelined for a few months.
Hokit (7-0) remains undefeated with a 100 percent finish rate — four knockouts and three submissions — while Walker (11-1) has been on a historic run, submitting four straight opponents by heel hook.
If this matchup comes together, expect fireworks when “Clean Monster” meets “The Incredible Hok” … oh, and a lot of trash talk.
