The hits just keep on comin’.
Per a release from FCBayern.com, Bayern Munich midfielder Tom Bischof will spend a spell on the sidelines due to surgery on his appendix:
FC Bayern will be without Tom Bischof for the foreseeable future. The German record champions’ 20-year-old midfielder had to undergo surgery on his appendix at short notice so won’t be available for the Bundesliga opener against RB Leipzig on Friday.
This is incredibly unfortunate for Bischof, who was off to a good start in Bavaria. What
horrible luck!
