Rumors for the Day:
- For what it’s worth, The Observer says The Rock has “not weighed in at all on current WWE creative.”
- Rey Mysterio’s injury is “not serious,” according to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer.
- According to PW Insider, the man who directs most major WWE events, including Raw and WrestleMania, Marty Miller, will not be directing Royal Rumble this year because of commitments to Zuffa Boxing this weekend. The director of SmackDown, Lee Lipschulz, is expected to take over for the big show.
- They also say the production for Royal Rumble this year is expected to be at the level of WrestleMania.
- WWE 2K26 will be released on Friday, March 13, per gaming insider Billbil-kun of Dealabs Magazine.
- Despite recent speculation over how he’s been booked on WWE television, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says there are no plans for Adam Pearce to wrestle, at least not right now.
