Tom Brady, of course, is a huge figure for the Las Vegas Raiders and he will always be.
Since he became a part owner of the team in 2024, the GOAT has been important factor and oft talked about. Despite owner Mark Davis saying Brady is a huge decision maker, all indications have been that his role is more of a consultant that a primary decision maker.
Yes, Brady has been involved in all major decisions from coaching hirings and firings to the drafting of No.1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza. But, the truth
is, he hasn’t been around on a daily basis and he he has been attending to his other daily life business as he lives in Miami.
During the season, of course, Brady is busy with his broadcasting job on Fox.
But there are indications that Brady is spending more time in Las Vegas this offseason. Recently, new offensive coordinator Andrew Janocko indicated Brady has been around a lot and has served as a tremendous resource for the coaching staff. Also, star tight end Brock Bowers said Brady has been around more this offseason than in the past.
That’s a great thing. Again, this is the time for Brady to be around. it just won’t happen much during the season. But he can help with building the culture and momentum toward the new year in his role. So, as much Brady can be around in the offseason and in training camp, the better for all involved.
