Barcelona star Lamine Yamal sent out a message after scoring in Saturday’s win over England in the Nations League.
The teenager gave Spain the lead inside the first two minutes at Wembley and delighted in the win afterwards.
“Hate me or love me, I don’t care,” he posted on Instagram along with a carousel of photos.
The words could be in response to some criticism Yamal has received recently for saying he thinks he deserves to win the Ballon d’Or.
Luis de la Fuentes also spoke about Yamal afterwards and
was asked if Yamal dribbles less after the 3-2 victory.
“I don’t know what they ask of him in Barcelona,” he told reporters.
“We try to get the best out of him with our style, which is similar to Barça’s, but different. His performance is exceptional; we’re lucky to have him.
“He plays the way the game demands, using his own strengths and those of his teammates.”
