Greetings, BBN!
The Kentucky Wildcats got their first win of the season Tuesday night, a 77-51 defensive slugfest with Nicholls.
It wasn’t the prettiest of openers, especially when Kentucky failed to score 30 points in the first half, though the defense did take command and help the Cats lead 28-15.
The second half was much more crisp, as Kentucky scored 49 points after the break to run away with their first victory of the season.
With Valparaiso on deck for Friday, the schedule is about to heat up quickly
with next week’s massive road showdown with the Louisville Cardinals, while the following week sees the Cats travel to MSG for a Champions Classic date with the Michigan State Spartans.
So, we’re asking you, after one game, how confident are you feeling about those two big games? Sound off in the poll below and in the comments section!
